Our stay at Rambler's Rest Cottage was exceptional value for money. The room was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The location, close to Parkgate's estuary-side Parade, was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable and enjoyable. Special touches like the little pots of jam and the gift of biscuits and Prosecco on arrival made it even more special. a delightful experience.
The only small improvement that could be made would be to provide a breakfast menu with more options.

We recently stayed at a charming cottage in Parkgate and had a lovely Easter break. the cottage was beautifully decorated and felt like a home away from home. the patio area was perfect for enjoying meals outside in the evening, with lovely lights creating a cozy atmosphere. We also appreciated the little extras like toiletries and jams that were provided. the location was fantastic, with a quiet and picturesque setting. It was also convenient to have a pub just across the road.
The only downside we found were the steep stairs in the cottage, which could be a bit tricky to navigate, especially for those with mobility issues or small children.

I had an exceptional stay at Rambler's Rest Cottage. the location was fantastic, and the property itself was done to a very high standard. It felt like home from home with everything we needed. the host left a lovely dog box of treats, as well as a bottle of wine and lemon biscuits. the little extra touches, such as coffee, jams, and other goodies, made it truly special. the cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had lovely artwork. the surrounding area of Parkgate offered plenty of opportunities for walks and bike rides to enjoy the wildlife. the local people were friendly and helpful. I couldn't fault the place and hope to return soon. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 😊.

The location of the cottage was fantastic, with beautiful views and plenty of nearby walks and bike rides to enjoy. The property itself was beautifully decorated and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host provided lovely welcome gifts, including treats for our dog, which was a nice touch.
One aspect that we didn't particularly like was the steepness of the stairs in the cottage, which could be problematic for people with mobility issues. we felt that the cottage may not be suitable for families with small children due to the steep stairs.
